he Lord has visited Singapore and there were many believers assembling together by the time we came to Singapore (in 1990s).
One such local church, where Brother Faithful Luke was ministered (Faithful Luke in Singapore, Simon Meek in Manila, Stephen Kaung in the United States were co-workers of Brother Watchman Nee) invited Brother Bakth Singh (who the Lord used to lead many to Christ in India) once in 1949 and in 1953 and thrice in1965. Brother Bakht Singh wrote,
“The Lord gave me a wonderful time at Vancouver, Yokohama, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore, and I found that the Lord had gone before me to all these cities and had prepared friends for me. I found, according to His Skill of His Loving Hands, wonderful promise, that there were friends everywhere, and I proved the truth of the Word which says, He led them by the skillfulness of His hands.”
In this way the Lord has established a spiritual bond between the believers of the Little Flock Fellowship (now the Christian Assembly Hall) in Singapore and the believers of Indigenous Churches of India.
The Lord has given us the privilege of entering into the labour of His saints (John 4: 37-38). However,
“The church, the body of Christ is not a human invention nor it is an historical consequence. It is conceived by God even before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 3: 10-11)” – Life of the Church, the Body of Christ, Stephen Kaung.
hiladelphia House of Fellowship had a humble beginning with worship on 30 September 2001. Though we are not an exception for the enemy’s (Satan’s) attacks wherein sometimes we miserably failed, the Lord, the Master Builder, blessed the ministry extending it to Malaysia also.
We are a church according to the pattern New Testament Church following the practices (such as Acts 2:42) of the first Church (see the faith and practices section for more details). We are taught that “there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28) and that ” there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all (Colossians 3:11).
Believers from various parts of India (speaking Hindi, Tamil, Telugu etc.) and from Nepal (Elshaddai-Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Nepal) fellowship with us.
All the messages are translated in Telugu, Nepali (at times in Hindi).
