Him that overcometh will I make a pillar

Revelation 3:12
VBS 2015
Thanks be to God for His wonderful help He has rendered to the ‘Philadelphia House of Fellowship’ during the 2015 VBS.
The children from the ages 5 to 15 have attended the three day VBS from June 12 – 14. The children had the Bible stories, written activities, art & crafts and games based on the theme, “The Master is calling” taken from John 11:28.
The lessons were based on the five “calls” by the Master – the Good Shepherd to His sheep, young boys and girls.
- The Good Shepherd called the lost sheep, “Where are you?” In His love the Good Shepherd came seeking the lost sheep and gave His life on the cross. The great search continued till the lost sheep is “found”.
- The Good Shepherd is calling His sheep to “Come and Listen” to Him for He teaches the way the sheep has to take. The Good Shepherd calls His sheep by name and His sheep “listen” to His voice and follow Him.
- The Good Shepherd is so loving that He knows the needs of His sheep and calls them, “Come and Eat”. He prepares ‘green pastures’, ‘still waters’, ‘table in the presence of the enemies’ and ‘overflowing cup’ so that His sheep “shall not want” but have “rest”.
- The Good Shepherd calls His sheep, “Come, Follow Me”. It is a call for the sheep to “follow’ Him – to obey Him and do His will that they might be fruitful bringing glory to the Heavenly Father.
- The story does not end there. The Good Shepherd calls all His sheep who followed Him and served Him to “Come and Inherit” the Kingdom He has prepared from the foundation of the world. The sheep of the Good Shepherd would be with Him in everlasting Kingdom “reigning” as kings and priests.
Let us pray that the Lord may bless all the children who attended the VBS to be saved by the Lord, and would be with Him in eternity.
Praise be to God! God bless the little sheep.
